Viva Technology: 5,000 startups meet in Paris

Viva Technology, a major international show focusing on innovation co-organized by French business daily Les Échos and Publicis Group, opened its doors this morning at Paris’s Porte de Versailles exhibition center, bringing together 5,000 startups, 600 speakers and 45,000 attendees over three days.

The event, which is running until June 17, aims to forge ties between startup founders and major companies, managers and investors. Hundreds of innovative devices being exhibited are bound to attract a great deal of attention.

Business France is a partner of the show and has organized three new events:

  • One-to-one meetings with startups and leaders in the global entrepreneurial ecosystem (major accounts and VCs)
  • A pitching session focusing on innovative subjects (Artificial Intelligence, Smart Cities, Capital Innovation in France, etc.)
  • A session looking at key events and sectors for Business France (CES, Slush & Web Summit, French Tech Tour, Agri NEST & Food Tech lab, Industry 4.0 and many others)
