H3 Dynamics, a pioneering tele-robotics tech startup from Singapore has announced that it has chosen Paris, France to be its regional headquarters for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. H3 Dynamics will also establish new R&D operations in France. The project is expected to create around 35 jobs over the next three years, including around twenty in R&D. Business France has played a key role in facilitating this investment project along with partner organization Paris Region Entreprises.
“In March 2017 in Singapore, the Prime Minister of Singapore and the former French President announced that 2018 would be a ‘Year of Innovation’ between both countries, two ‘startup nations’ that are both keen to shape the future of innovation and strengthen their economic ties,” said Marc Abensour, France’s Ambassador in Singapore. “With a European HQ in Paris and a Global HQ in Singapore, H3 Dynamics is a tangible example of these ambitions.”
“I am delighted with the decision of pioneering Singapore startup H3 Dynamics to establish its European HQ and R&D operations in France. This choice confirms France’s attractiveness for technology and innovation investments, with France ranked first in the 2016 Deloitte ‘Technology Fast 500 EMEA’ and third in 2016 ‘Top 100 Global Innovators’,” said Caroline Leboucher, Business France’s Chief Operating Officer, Investment Division.
“We are excited about starting up our European operations in France, a country that has stood out in recent times for its drive towards innovation and audacity,” said founder and CEO Taras Wankewycz, a tech entrepreneur who has been based in Singapore for the last six years.
