Share Paris is being held from today until Sunday at Espace Champerret in Paris, with 5,000 people expected to attend the 4,500 sq. m. venue.
This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill trade fair – Share Paris is a place to discover the sharing and collaborative economy, bringing together all its good ideas, initiatives, applications, innovations, initiatives and stakeholders under one roof.
Visitors can check out the show’s 80 exhibitors, attend talks and discuss various topics, such as policymaking, nutrition and alternative lifestyles.
“Nine out of ten French people are now part of the sharing economy in one way or another. […] We have all used services like BlaBlaCar and Leboncoin, but we’re not always aware of being part of this kind of economy,” explains Laëtitia Colcomb, one of the organizers.
The sharing economy generates estimated annual sales of €3.2 billion in France, and forecasts suggest it may be worth 20 times that amount within the next decade.
