‘La French Fab’: a new brand for French manufacturing

After the success of “La French Tech” for promoting French startups internationally, this week saw the official launch by the French government of “La French Fab” to promote the manufacturing sector with a brand that will be symbolized by a blue French rooster.

The aim of bringing together French industry under a single banner is to highlight French manufacturing expertise and provide a vision for the future of French industry.

France is at the cutting-edge of the digital transition and is already building a position as a global leader in digitizing industry, a key factor in business competitiveness.

“La French Fab” will underpin efforts to showcase French high-tech excellence, whether it be by national champions or SMEs.

“Just as ‘La French Tech’ has succeeded in driving a dynamic generation shift backed by huge talent, we are looking to use ‘La French Fab’ in a similar way to publicize the great wealth and diversity of French industry, encouraging people to provide support and join companies like these,” said Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance.
