“La France des Solutions” was held for the fifth time last week by NGO Reporters d’Espoirs, bringing together proponents of creative, collective solutions and leading impact journalists at the Palais d’Iéna on Monday October 9, 2017.
Reporters d’Espoirs (“Reporters of Hope”) works to further solutions or impact journalism, to highlight innovative and constructive initiatives in economic, societal and environmental fields, with a view to spurring more and more people into action. Last year, no fewer than 20 million French people learned about creative solutions through impact journalism!
Featuring idea-pitching sessions, discussions and debates, seminars with leading personalities, activists, entrepreneurs, artists, and media professionals, the event once again lived up to its billing, with renowned French designer Philippe Starck appearing as the guest of honor.
The day ended with the announcement of the winners of the Eighth Reporters d’Espoirs Awards for journalists and upcoming media professionals examining issues with a problem/solution approach. Click here to read more about the 2017 Awards (in French).
