French expertise in the spotlight at the ‘French China Sport Days’

The “French China Sport Days” started this morning in Shanghai with a sporting media-call attended by the French Minister for Sport and former multiple Olympic fencing champion, Laura Flessel.

Scheduled to coincide with the Tour de France China Criterium bike race being held in Shanghai on October 29, the “French China Sport Days” are a series of exhibitions organized by Business France for seven French companies to showcase their expertise to Chinese decision-makers – including the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics – and to meet up with pre-selected potential partners. Laura Flessel’s attendance at the event’s closing ceremony will give the French companies the highest of profiles with their Chinese hosts.

A further consideration is that by winning the right to stage the 2022 Winter Olympics, Beijing has become the first city ever to host both the Winter and Summer Games. This trip to China therefore represents a unique promotional opportunity for the seven French companies to demonstrate their prowess and investigate exciting new opportunities in this market.
