France committed to protecting the environment

With less than two weeks to go until the international climate summit, due to be chaired by President Emmanuel Macron on December 12-13 in Paris, Business France is doing its bit for the planet through a partnership with the New York Times to promote France’s prowess in environmental matters.

The one-month-long media campaign will run until January 4, 2018 and focus on the English-speaking market, especially the United States, home to some of the most influential decision-makers in the energy sector.

Business France has also partnered with Parisian startup accelerator NUMA, which will hold a “Tech for Planet” event the day before the climate summit.

More than 700 entrepreneurs and leaders committed to tackling climate change are expected to attend the event being held at Station F, the world’s largest startup campus in eastern Paris, where they will discuss existing clean and green technologies.

On the second anniversary of the Paris climate agreement, France continues to invest in and address the key issues arising from climate change.
