The third annual award ceremony, held on June 29, brought together the key players from France’s ‘successful ageing’ sector and awarded prizes to the sector’s most innovative companies and rising stars.
The silver economy comprises all companies working with or on behalf of older people, and the goods and services that it provides will soon become essential. The sector is expected to grow dramatically over the next few years.
The competition is free to enter, and selects the best candidates from a large pool of companies in the silver economy – SMEs and startups offering products, solutions and technologies for seniors such as assisted living, home care services, connected devices, robots, social contact, telecommunications, sensory stimulation, e-health and telemedicine solutions, nutrition, wellbeing, mobility and smart city.
The 2017 prizewinners are:
- Business France prize: CLEANIS
- ON MEDIO prize: NE’WEE
- France Silver Eco prize: LCS
- Air France prize: Famileo
