12 French companies look to break into UAE and Saudi Arabian markets

Business France organized a week of intensive coaching and meetings with prospective clients and partners in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for 12 companies. France’s public investment bank Bpifrance and Société Générale have selected them representing cutting-edge excellence in their respective “Smart City” niche fields to receive

The aim of the “French Smart City Excellence Mission” is to gain greater insight into market requirements in these two leading Middle East economies, and to sign short-term distribution agreements with local businesses.

The 12 companies have been receiving coaching since Monday from personnel at Business France’s local offices, Société Générale Middle East, and up to twenty French trade advisors operating in the two countries. Upon their return to France, international trade advisors from Business France working in Bpifrance’s regional offices will follow up with each company.

For the companies taking part in this mission, this is a chance to boost their exports in markets where they have little or no sales at present. They will get to meet contractors for major modernization projects as part of a series of meetings organized by Business France in Dubai and Riyadh in an effort to ensure future success in these two markets.
